Great Snowmobiling In Chautauqua New York
The Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Club was founded in 1968 for the purpose of making a local trail system that was both safe and enjoyable. Located in the western-most part of New York State where the average annual snowfall exceeds 250 inches, its volunteers maintain over 200 miles of scenic trails. These are linked to local service businesses and other clubs in the county. Our clubhouse, located on Hannum Rd. in Mayville, NY, is available to all 2300+ CLSC members and has comfort facilities as well as a mini kitchen.
Our club currently operates 10 Class “A” Groomers and expends countless volunteer hours preparing the trails for snow. There are fun family activities from dinner rides to bonfires throughout the season for everyone. We invite you to join our group of active snowmobile enthusiasts and get to know us and make this your personal trail system!
Club Meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 7:30pm from September through May. From June through August we will hold only one meeting per month on the the 3rd Wednesday at 7:30PM. We welcome everyone to attend these meetings. Board meetings will be the 3rd Wednesday of each month.
Help get our trails ready for the season and get Bonus Cards for your hard work. Bring your 4-wheelers, chain saws, or just come and help clear brush, and post trail signs with us. Lunch is usually provided, contact the club Vice President @ email@example.com to get on a scheduled work party. Those who work 15 hours on the trails will receive a 10% Bonus Program Gold Card, and those who work 25 or more hours will earn a 15% Platinum Card. This program makes it easy for the membership and businesses to share the costs of trail maintenance.
