Trails will be closing at 6am on 2/15. Many bare spots and slush all over from the warmup. Hopefully everyone got out to ride on such a nice day! We will update conditions of things change or another storm arrives!

Tails are open and in good shape. We’ve got roughly a foot of fresh snow on top of a hard, frozen base. There’s still some ice underneath, and you may run into a few bare spots on hills where the wind has blown things down.
Overall, riding is good. Groomers will be out once this latest storm passes to pack in the new snow.
Get out and ride, and as always—stay safe and keep right.
Chautauqua Lake Snowmobile Trails are now OPEN!!!!!
Please check the NYSSA MAP , a few sections are not ready yet .
Conditions are Marginal, so be Careful, Ride at reasonable speeds and watch for down trees , we have had some wind .
You can report hazards to Jason Carr , William Ottaway and Robert Perry , they can coordinate and handle the issues.
Ride Right , Stay between the stakes , Be Safe and most importantly HAVE FUN!!!!!!!
Trails are currently closed due to warming weather and rain coming. We will post again when conditions improve.
Trails are open! Use caution, water, some potential trees could be blocking trails. Enjoy early season riding!
As we approach January 2nd , I’m sure the big question is Arising “Are we going to open”
As of right now the region has suffered High Winds ,Warm Temps and Rain right before this current cold snap. I can even fathom the amount of trees down on our trail system.
National Weather Service is calling for more cold and Snow prior to the weekend. So I’ll say it like this , “If we get the cold “ and “if we get the snow “ the club trail captains and groomer operators will be out clearing the trails and making sure everything is signed properly and trails are safe and clear to ride .
Remember, Safety is the #1 priority!
Keep an eye on this Facebook page and the NYSSA map webpage: for updates :
Thank You and Have a Safe and Happy New Year

It was a good season for the most part with great opportunities to ride. Thank you to all the volunteers and landowners for making the trail system possible. See you next year!
Due to the warmup we will be closing the trails tonight at midnight. Please stay off the trails until we post that they are open.
