Trails are closed at this time due to the warmup and thin base, we will update when conditions change.

Our trail system is open, but limited, as of 7pm tonight. PLEASE pay attention to the closed areas and refer to the attached map. Do not ride Westfield, Brocton, or Busti trails due to no snow. We have very minimal snow conditions, meaning blown off fields, water holes, and possible limbs down due to high winds today. It’s supposed to be 40 and rain on Sunday. Snow phone will be updated shortly. We will not be our grooming as there is no snow to work with. Trails may close at any time if conditions change.

Warm weather and rain are coming for the next two days. Trails will be closed for the time being until we can see how much base is left after the warmup.

Trails are open, conditions are still ok but warm weather and more warm weather on Friday 2/11 will start to open up some water. Still cold in the forecast so cross your fingers we retain the good base.

Chautauqua lake snowmobile trails are now open. Please use caution, there is a lot of water under the snow which could bog your sled down, do not ride alone, snowmobiles will pack the snow down and we will resume grooming Friday night. We want to be your club, join CLSC

Trails are in great shape but warmer weather and maybe some rain are coming. The warmup doesn’t seem like it will last long and we are expecting cold temps and more snow later in the week. We have a good base so please stay off after 10PM tonight. We will groom this out and should create an awesome solid base for later in the week. Stay tuned for updates and when trails can open after the base freezes.

Trails are open and in good condition. Groomers have been out, the area has over a foot of snow in spots and is freezing nicely with the lower temperatures. Watch out for early season conditions and traffic for the first weekend of the year. The DMV will also be available this weekend to register your snowmobile if needed.
